Is my media sent to a server?

No. Audio, video, transcription, and captions are processed on your Mac. Some models need internet access only for their first installation; only the model is downloaded.

Which Macs are supported?

The initial version requires an Apple silicon Mac running macOS 26 or later.

Can I edit captions in Final Cut Pro?

Yes. Captions return as editable Motion titles. For text changes that need the layout and animations recalculated, revise in AutoCaption and generate the titles again.
